    FOR RECRUITMENT TO POSTS IN BS-17 UNDER THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

    COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MAJOR RELIGIONS

    (FOR NON-MUSLIMS)

    TIME ALLOWED: THREE HOURS

    PART-I(MCQs): MAXIMUM 30 MINUTES

    PART-I (MCQs) MAXIMUM MARKS = 20

    PART-II MAXIMUM MARKS = 80

    NOTE: (i) Part-II is to be attempted on the separate Answer Book.

    (ii) Attempt FOUR questions from PART-II. ALL questions carry EQUAL marks.

    (iii) All the parts (if any) of each Question must be attempted at one place instead of at different

    places.

    (iv) Candidate must write Q. No. in the Answer Book in accordance with Q. No. in the Q.Paper.

    (v) No Page/Space be left blank between the answers. All the blank pages of the Answer Book must

    be crossed.

    (vi) Extra attempt of any question or any part of the attempted question will not be considered.

    No. 3. Write a comprehensive note on basic teachings of Judaism in the light of basic

    principles of Jewish Philosopher Maimonides.(20)

    No. 4. Islam educates tolerance for other religions. Explain in the light of Quran and Sunnah and biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).(20)

    No. 5. Which ethical system presented Buddha to his followers? Write a comprehensive

    contemporary situation of Buddism.(20)

    No. 6. Why Zionism movement came into being? Write a brief note on its history and explain the concepts of the Jewish sect “Reform Judaism”.(20)

    No. 7. Write an introductory note on Catholicism and Protestantism. Also compare their concepts and beliefs.(20)

    No. 8. Write a detailed note on the golden age of Hazrat Umar (R.A) and also explain how

    reforms of Hazrat Umar (R.A) can be beneficial in the current age? (20)
